Australian Salmon Fishing Championship on again!
Elliston Progress and Tourism Association is proud to announce that the annual Australian Salmon Fishing Championship will take place again in 2010.
1st June - 31st August
1st Prize: $2,500 cash

Great raffle prizes have been donated by local and other businesses for a raffle to be drawn on Friday 3rd September when the major prize winners of the 2010 Australian Salmon Fishing Championship will be announced.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
  1. Entrants must be registered before catching fish
  2. Salmon must be caught with hook and line from shore between Sheringa and Venus Bay by the registered entrant.
  3. Fish must be gutted and washed (NOT GILLED OR SCALED) and be presented on the day of capture.
  4. Fish to be weighed in at Rally’s Roadhouse on the Flinders Highway between 9am and 7pm together with an entry ticket.
  5. Competition starts Tuesday 1st June and ends Tuesday 31st August 2009.
  6. Entrants not following the conditions of entry will be disqualified.
  7. Weekly mystery weight competition closes 7pm each Tuesday night during the Championship.
  8. Maximum of three (3) fish per entrant per day to be weighed.
